Thank you to the LCWM Elementary PTO for hosting this event!

One of the Kindergarten classes explored the many ways to cut an apple! One special method revealed a beautiful star inside. The kids loved tasting the apples and even got creative by painting with them. What a fun and delicious way to learn!

The state of Minnesota will pay a significant portion of the total bond project.
They will pay approximately 35% of the district's bond payments, or approximately $2.3 million of the $6.5 million bond amount through the Ag2School Tax Credit program.
This reduces the burden to the Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial taxpayers.
Watch your mailbox soon for the informational flyer and reach out to a Board Member or Superintendent Benson with any questions!

September is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month, so please take time to thank these dedicated school leaders. School board members devote hours of their time each month to provide leadership for our school district!

If yours is not updated, please send an email with your information to info@isd2071.org and we will pass it on to the bus company.
Please note, for those of you on Bus Routes 18 & 21 your times will be different than previous years due to the County Road 9 Bridge being out by the Rapidan Dam.

Investing in Tomorrow's World | Referendum 2024
The School Board has been gathering information throughout the past year and has decided to present a referendum to our district residents in the November 2024 election. Due to the increasing needs for maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and grounds, coupled with insufficient Long Term Facility Maintenance funds, voters will be asked to consider a $6.5 million bond referendum to support these projects.
For more information, please visit: www.isd2071.org/referendum2024.
Several upcoming opportunities will be available to meet with school superintendent Mr. Brett Benson and our Board members to answer any questions you may have. Please check the page listed above for those dates and times!
